Herman Zander founded Zander Insurance in 1925. The agency has been passed down through the family over the years – first to Julian M. Zander, then to Julian “Bud” Zander, then to current CEO Jeff Zander. When we say we’re a family business, we’re not kidding!
We are proud to live out our mission every day, both in how we serve our clients and how we serve our community. In the last five years alone, Zander has donated over $3 million to the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude, and dozens of other local and national nonprofit organizations. Over the years, we have supported Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, the Boys & Girls Club of Middle TN, Junior League of Nashville, Friends of Warner Parks, the Nashville Firefighters Association, the Nashville Rescue Mission, and many others.
One cause that is particularly close to our hearts is assisting those who have faced significant financial struggles due to the loss of a parent who didn’t have adequate life insurance. It’s at the center of all that we do, which is why each year, we award a $5,000 scholarship (renewable each year) to upcoming and current college students who have been faced with these circumstances, through no fault of their own.
